February 2010 update - Dartmoor Sunday Rover will be back this Summer, running from late May to September. This page will be updated with 2010's information as it becomes available.

In the meantime, we have left last year's information here to give an idea of what to expect.

 

Dartmoor Sunday Rover provides an easy, great value way to explore Dartmoor and have a relaxing day without the worries of driving and parking.

Operating on Sundays between 24 May and 20 September 2009, this network of over 20 bus routes and 3 railway lines link together to form the best value Sunday bus and rail ticket in the UK.

2009 Prices are £6.50 Adult,£4.30 Child and £16 Family (up to 5 people, max 2 adults).

Tickets can be purchased on the bus, train or at Plymouth, Barnstaple, Exeter St Davids and Exeter Central Railway stations and are valid on all services.

New for 2009 - the Tarka Line between Barnstaple, Exeter and Digby and Sowton is included for the first time.

Update - June 7 Exeter - Okehampton through trains have resumed and will run every Sunday until 20 June. Full details here.

The buffet and model shop at Okehampton station are now fully reopened and Dartmoor Railway is operating trains between Okehampton and Meldon.

Many Dartmoor based attractions, including the Meldon trains, offer good discounts for Sunday Rover users.

The map here shows this year's Dartmoor Sunday Rover network. The Dartmoor Sunday Rover ticket also allows you to use any Stagecoach Devon and almost all First bus services in Devon.

A free Dartmoor Sunday Rover booklet gives full details of services - pick one up at bus stations, Plymouth rail station, many libraries and tourist information centres or fill out our leaflet request form and we will send you one free.
