Winter 2009 and Spring 2010 prices Ride Cornwall "RideCornwall' offers unlimited off-peak rail and bus journeys in Cornwall and to/from Plymouth. The product gives the holder one day's unlimited travel on all rail and most bus services within Cornwall and between Cornwall and Plymouth (plus the Tamar Valley Line), after 09 00 Monday to Friday and at any time on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. `Ride Cornwall' is valid on the following operators' services: First Great Western, CrossCountry Trains, First Devon & Cornwall, Western Greyhound Adult - £10.00, Child - £7.50, Family (up to 2 adults and 3 children) - £20.00
Devon & Cornwall Rangers Ranger tickets are available giving the freedom of either Devon or Cornwall's rail network for the day. Both tickets include Plymouth and the Tamar Valley Line. The Cornish Ranger covers all routes in Cornwall. The Devon Ranger covers all routes in Devon and as far as Tiverton Parkway and Axminster. Each Ranger costs £10.00 adult. Valid after 09:00 (or whenever the Off Peak Day Return is available, whichever is earlier) weekdays, anytime weekends and bank holidays. There is also a Devon Evening Ranger, valid after 18:00 seven days a week, which costs £5.00 adult.
Branch Line Rangers Ranger tickets, giving the freedom of a branch line for the day, are available for the Tarka Line, Tamar Valley Line, Looe Valley Line, Atlantic Coast Line, Maritime Line and St Ives Bay Line. Adult fares are £7.50 Tarka Line, £4.50 Tamar Valley Line, £3.40 Looe Valley Line, £3.90 Atlantic Coast Line, £3.40 Maritime Line and £4.00 St Ives Bay Line. GroupSave allows up to four people to travel for the price of two adults. Valid after the morning peak on weekdays (no restriction on the St Ives Bay Line), anytime weekends or bank holidays, a branch line Ranger ticket is perfect for using the train for walks or to explore a Rail Ale Trail.
Looe Valley Explorer (2010 price still to be confirmed) The Looe Valley Explorer allows a day's unlimited travel on the Looe Valley Line and Western Greyhound's route 573 between Liskeard town centre, station, East and West Looe, Hannafore Point and Polperro. Valid anytime - cost £3.50 adult, £1.75 child (5-15 years).
Freedon of Devon and Cornwall Rover The Devon and Cornwall Rover ticket offers you a choice of either a 3 day (any 3 in 7 - you choose when you want to go) or an 8 day (any 8 in 15 days) ticket offering the freedom of the whole of Devon and Cornwall and as far as Tiverton Parkway and Axminster. Valid after 09:00 (or whenever the Off Peak Day Return is available, whichever is earlier) on weekdays, anytime weekends and bank holidays. The ticket is available from staffed stations within Devon and Cornwall (and throughout the national rail network) all year and costs: 3 Day Rail Rover *Adult - £40.00
Freedom of the South West Railrover
It is as it sounds: unlimited off peak access to all of the South West by rail for either any three days in seven or any eight days in fifteen. In addition to just Devon and Cornwall, the Freedom of the South West Rail Rover is also valid on services as far as Bristol, Cardiff, Swindon, Salisbury, Romsey, Yeovil and Weymouth. The ticket is also valid to Worcester and Great Malvern, Gloucester via Yate, Chepstow and Stroud, Eastleigh, Southampton and Portsmouth, Lymington, Bournemouth and Weymouth via Poole. Valid after 09:00 (or whenever the Off Peak Day Return is available, whichever is earlier) weekdays, anytime weekends and bank holidays.
